ABOUT ME
I wouldn't call myself an artist, but I am permanently trying to express myself in different types of art. Searching for new places and people in this world that inspire me, I am constantly changing my view of how things work out. I love to create, design, decorate, paint, draw, and photograph - and I want to spend as much time on it as I can afford. I think, one should never waste his modest competences.
I love to travel, to meet new people and - to eat. I also enjoy to just remain silent for a longer while, to listen to music or also to just jam all day with some other musicians! :-)
PHILOSOPHY
Aunque la mona se vista de seda, mona se queda
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
I always try to return the favor somehow to the people hosting me - like cooking, for example, I know how to prepare some typical Bavarian dishes, things that you have maybe never seen before.
There are many ways to thank, maybe you just let me know if you're up to something special. (Once I was asked to draw a comic for a really tiny bathroom, so guests do not have to stare at the plain door)
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
I have surfed about 58 places in 14 different countries so far.
Interests
arts, fried eggs, claymation movies, the smell of spray paint, The Good Listeners, I like it to walk through the world with open eyes, listening to or playing good music, traveling, eating, sitting anywhere in big cities and watching the people struggle through their day, Jever, beautiful landscapes, interesting and uninteresting animals, cooking, swimming, Romanticism, tales and other short stories, photographing, Frederic Edwin Church, Flight of the Conchords, stop motion, chameleons, and a lot more stuff...

Music, Movies, and Books
Kafka. Kenneth Graham's "The Wind in the Willows". Books about history. Documentaries on Television.
Different genres of movies, preferred animated. I do like the Coens' also. And especially Walt Disney's 'Jungle Book'.
There are many different kinds of music I listen to. It depends on the situation. Deftones to Smashing Pumpkins to Groove Armada to Looptroop (and especially Promoe) to The Good Listeners to DnB to things of the Tru Thoughts label to folk.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Åland was kinda nice, comfortable and impressing :-)
Teach, Learn, Share
There is a lot knowledge and experiences to share. I really appreciate it when people know a lot of the place they're living in
