ABOUT ME

I spent all of my years growing up in one small spot on the planet: an obscure town where teeth are unnecessary. Beautiful as the landscape is, I can hardly call it prime real estate...the heart of America isn't choice location for a free-thinking, open minded world citizen. I might be a product of my environment, sure, but even my parents don't know where I came from, let alone the other folks walkin' around my hometown. Somehow I ended up with a passport and a penchant for getting it stamped as often as I could....

PHILOSOPHY

read, watch, question everything, don't make plans because you'll only be heartbroken when they fail, laugh, RELAAAAAX, listen to music - and dance like you mean it, do something you shouldn't, do something you should, write a REAL letter and mail it (it'll make someone's day), take fewer photos and start truly observing your surroundings, learn another language....

FILM: john waters is my favorite director - pink flamingos, female trouble, desperate living, polyester, a dirty shame...at the moment i'm also enjoying Gummo, Jesus Camp, Team America, Shortbus, You Me and Everyone We Know...the list could go on. I'm always ready to see something amazing...

MUSIKA: if it's electro, i like it. synth pop, breakbeats...i also like hip-hop, mainly stuff from the dirty south. i like anything that makes me wanna dance, but i'm not really into happy house. i love to listen to new music and i love to share my own passions...i'll give anything a chance...

I love language - I am more than happy to share my knowledge of English (grammar and explanations included) with anyone who wants to know. French I can share a little bit too; I'm not native but love to speak, practice, and help when I can.

I love to learn a few phrases from everywhere I travel. Sometimes it's something random (příští zastávka) and sometimes it's something not nice. Also polite things handy in getting around.

I like to learn about PEOPLE when I travel. History, Society, Culture. I am all ears...give me your perspective!
