I was born in Cape Town, South Africa and grew up not far from there in a small town called 'Langebaan'. Growing up right next to the sea, is where my passion for the warm sand and cool (or ice cold Atlantic) water comes from. I grew up fishing, swimming and boating with my family and friends.

I studied in the culture rich and historical town of Stellenbosch, South Africa. This is where I obtained mt degree in Teaching. I worked in Cape Town, very close to the city center, for two years, before moving to Taipei, Taiwan.

I have been teaching here, in both local and international schools for the past two years. I would love to see more of the world before returning home to my beloved country.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I stumbled upon the couch surfing website and thought; "What a fantastic idea!"
I am always looking for opportunities to show my beautiful country, South Africa, and the country I currently reside in, Taipei, off to people I meet.
I would also love to see the world, and what better opportunity to experience the world and be submerged into it's culture than to be hosted by a new and like-minded friend.
