ABOUT ME

Turned 26 and got out of an unhealthy relationship, quit a job that wasn't feeding me, moved out of my apartment and hit the road with a buddy for a few months. We sold awesome 'adventure hammocks' at festivals to support a camping and hiking habit! Shot a documentary film on a Mensa convention (editing it now), went to a family reunion, and now heading out to San Fran for some fun before jetting over to Maui for some island fun! I love meeting great new people and having the kind of adventures you remember for a lifetime!

PHILOSOPHY

This is the one I'm in the process of re-exploring right now. My personal philosophy is that life is a gift, we would be wise to embrace each second and live in gratitude for each breath we take. I believe we have manifested in these physical bodies to experience the elations and challenges inherent to humanity (emotion, choice, love, self-awareness, loss) Basically, Live Your Truth!

Working on that one ; ) As soon as I get settled in Maui (for a few months+) and then San Fran (for a few years+) I'll be happy to host. In the meantime I'll be checking out the 'surfing' side of the project if ya know what I mean ;)

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Crashed on many a couch, floor, staircase, bathtub over the years. Just finished 'surfing' my buddy's dad's couch in Orlando, FL while he and I were shooting footage for a doc film I've been working on

Music: Michael Franti is my musical religion, Atmosphere is awesome, Radiohead Rocks, I grew up on James Taylor, Bob Marley, Beatles, Taj Mahal, and other greats! I love conscious hip hop, rock, reggae, new age, world music and catchy pop songs that are F-U-N. One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Sat on the bottom of the ocean off Hawaii and 'fed' GIANT manta rays by holding an underwater torch above my head! Plankton were attracted to the light and when enough had gathered the rays would SWOOP down and feed. Saw the sun rise from the top of an Indonesian volcano (Mt. Bromo), meditated at Machu Picchu, hiked through four climate zones in one day in New Zealand, swapped drinking stories with a one-armed Australian car test-driver in the Outback, and...well, I gotta save some to tell you in person, eh? Ha!

I love helping people get in touch with their deepest goals visions for their life! I also know an thereputic eye-movement technique (EMDR) that is a PHENOMENAL way to move past fears of any kind and to reinforce positive cognitions for the future.
