I am from the United States and took a gap year to backpack through Europe and SE Asia and road-tripp the west coast of Australia. And couchsurfed/hitchhiked through from Auckland to Queenstown. Best experience ever!!

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Only used couchsurfing for a few weeks last year but every day/night was an adventure!
I find it's a great way to meet unique people and have out-of-the-box experiences, so if you're up for an adventure, I'd love to come stay with you!
Never underestimate the power of rest though; a chilled-out evening playing cards with a few drinks and good music has never sounded better
