Overview
About Me
I am a fun-loving twenty something from Scotland who loves to travel, meet new people and experience new places.
I have been on the road here and there for the last 3 years and have decided to make the move to Canada on a working holiday visa and check out for myself if it really is as amazing as people keep telling me!
I have been volunteering in Puerto Rico for the last month with extremely limited internet access so I have done very little research and would appreciate and local knowledge people would like to throw my way!
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I sometimes feel like when I travel I end up spending too much time with other backpackers rather than experiencing the place, people and culture to its full extent. I hope couchsurfing will allow me to immerse myself more fully with the help of a bit of local insider knowledge!
Interests
Travelling of course!
I can easily spend hours wandering around a city admiring the architecture and watching the locals go about their day. That said, I also love nature whether it be trekking through the mountains or finding a secluded beach to waste a few hours reclined in the sand with a good book. These days I always pack my hammock and am constantly on the look out for a good set of trees.
I enjoy a spot of live music in dark and dingy basement bars and some stand up comedy now and again. Like most people, I like to indulge in good films and occasionally binge on a great TV series.
I love food. I love cooking food. I love eating food.

Teach, Learn, Share
I am learning Spanish and am always looking to improve as although I can get by in a restaurant my conversational skills are terrible.
I can teach you how to make an origami boat...because that is a life skill everyone should have.
What I Can Share with Hosts
I enjoy sharing stories and experiences over some good food or a couple of drinks. I love to cook so if you provide a kitchen I am more than happy to provide a tasty meal or share one of my favourite recipes.
I can guarantee my mum taught me how to be the perfect guest, I will leave everything in your home just as I found it.
