ABOUT ME

I'm an easy going free spirited semi-nomadic wildchild. My last name is Freeman, but to me it's more of a title. Free-Man. I'm very much into the pursuit of mind expansion and meeting people who are experienced in worldly ways. My friends would tell you that I am a fair minded individual with a passion for the intellectual.

Interests

I have a bordering on neurotic compulsion to make music. I can't leave my house without at least one instrument. I can often be found at night time dancing to drum beats with my fire batons and poi. I love sitting around a campfire jamming with people. I'll play any instrument I can get my hands on, but primary I carry a banjo and a flute.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Hands down some of my best life changing experiences have been at the Winnipeg Folk Festival. That aside, two falls ago some friends and I all went camping on Sombrio beach in the Juan de Fuca provincial park. I suspended my hammock from two large trees overhanging a cliff above the beach, I literally had to jump in and out of the hammock or take a tumble down to the beach. Before nightfall we climbed down a cliffside to sea level and hopped across several rocks to a rock shelf behind a waterfall. We lit a couple smokes and realized tide was coming in and we were about to lose our way back, my first experience with tides. Some bears came down to visit us that night but we clanged some rocks and cans together and they lost interest.
