To love & have fun & learn all sorts of things in the process. Like routine and responsibility. This is a lifetime goal.
I'm now a civil engineering student in TAMK, after some years of English and German studies. In the past few years I haven't been able to travel nearly as much as I would've liked to, but that's what hosting is for. :) Life's good.
I'm a rationalist, but compensating it with a nice deal of escapism and hedonism. I'm a humanist but, after all: you and me, baby, we're nothing but mammals.
Things have a way of working out, carpe diem and all that jazz. We're here just once in a lifetime, right? I'm agnostic and interested in discussing life, religion, universe, you name it, as long as you're not a converter.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
Surf and host. I usually like to show people around if I'm not busy. I'm pretty active in Tampere's Emergency Couch group, too.
First time surfing was in Berlin, and it was awesome! After that I've surfed just once but hosted always when possible, and met a bunch of cool people.
I'm always interested in Singing, Culture, Books, Linguistics, Cooking, Travelling and LARP & Improv. At the moment I find myself addicted to Interior design and Baking.

Music, Movies, and Books
I like rock music in general, as well as metal and classic.
My favourite authors include, but aren't limited to, Neil Gaiman, Terry Pratchett, J.K. Rowling and Haruki Murakami.
I like pretty much all movies except war movies (they're mostly awful & boring); my favourites are musicals and most of Disney's, Burton's, Almodovar's & Tarantino's. I don't follow many TV series but there's a few I'm addicted to: House M.D., Supernatural and Sex and the City.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Having found the love of my life and marrying her, definitely. Also, I've tried some crazy rides in a French amusement park.
Teach, Learn, Share
The best way for me to learn and teach is simply by conversation. I'm a bit too occupied to learn new languages at the moment but I'm all about mastering the ones I already speak.
Ps. I really don't speak German that fluently, but I feel that it would be a shame for it to be in the same category as my Swedish and French, so it's there in the more-fluent-department. ;)
What I Can Share with Hosts
Depending on my week/weekend, I'm known to having shown people around in this town I call home and share all kinds of (useless/interesting) trivia. :) And if we've got time and we really hit it off, I'd love to cook/bake together! I've got a sauna, too.
