About Me

ABOUT ME

My friends say that I am quite an upbeat person that likes to see the positive side of thing. I'm also a talkative person that loves to have meaningful and deep conversations. I am particularly interested in subjects like society issues, sustainability, sense of community, globalization, ecology, collective happiness, ethics, religious beliefs, etc. I am someone who's looking for different point of views on different subjects. I try to find the pros and cons on every side of a debate. For me, there is no such thing as black and white. Every thing is a shade of grey. So when I talk to people, I don't try to force my belief on them. I try instead to keep my beliefs aside to understand the views of the other person and to revise my position on the subject. As you can see, I can seem really intellectual. But you know what? I am very expressive and I never like to end a conversation on a sad note! After all, we're here to enjoy every day of our life and to have fun with each others! :)

BIOGRAPHY

I was born in St-Eustache, in the surburban area of Montreal in Quebec, Canada. I grew up having a lot of interest in music and computers. I started playing drums when I was 10 years old and then, taking up the guitar and the piano at 12 years old. I finished high school and decided to go study computer science as I really liked the creative potential of programming. As I grew older, I realized I didn't want to sit behind a computer all my life and so I decided to take a gap year. During that time, I sang and played guitar in a rock band and did some gigs. At that time, I knew I wanted to play music for a living. But after some time, I got into philosophy and decided to study it at university. I loved it, but at the same time hated it. Why? I didn't like the stress of finishing a book in a given time. Neither did I like the fact of writing so many analysis of philosophical texts and of having no personal time to read other books. So I decided to stop university for some time and go travel the world while reading philosophy, religious and spiritual books.

Recently, I started to gain interest in traditional music from around the world and I'm now trying to interpret some of the songs that inspired me the most.
