Hi everybody!
My name is Xavier and I'm from Barcelona. I was born here so I know my city very well. For me it is full of secrets, history and little stories!
I teach maths and economics in high school, near Barcelona. I love my job and I'm very happy with it. One of the good things of my job is my time of holidays! I like to spent part of it traveling and meeting new people.
I'm also doing a second degree, learning piano, "gralla catalana" and ocarina. I love music! In addition I do "castells" (https://birreiros.files.wordpress.com/2013/02/santaeulalia006.jpg?w=1248&h=1024) and there is where I play my "gralla".

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I'm on Couchsurfing because I have an extra room in my apartment and I want to give the opportunity to the people who want to visit Barcelona without spending a fortune in hotels! In addition if you stay with locals you will know a better Barcelona!
I also hope to be able to travel around the world meeting new people and enjoying the experience!

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Teaching my students every day feels very amazing... But I could also say that touching some elephants, bathing them and feeding them was amazing too!

Depending on the days I can share my knowledge of the city even becoming a guide! I love showing my city! I can also share one room and my hospitality!
