ABOUT ME

I'am a photographer and videast. I'am currently doing astrophotography workshops in Lake Tekapo, NZ. On some nights I also do some stargazing with the customers.
Diver for over 15 years, I have dived all around the world from California to Palau to the Maldives and many more.
Fieldhockey is in my blood, so if you would like to see a game or even to try it, just ask me!
I'am a calm and laid back person, I'd rather get a drink somewhere in a bar or at a terrace than dancing on the tables in a disco.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I host people from time to time, but since I live a bit outside Brussels it's quite hard to find people who want to crash here.... I try to couchsurf every time I'am abroad to meet amazing local people :)

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Over 30 I think, I also couchsurf a lot with people I meet on the road. It's amazing to see how friendly humans can be if you don't believe what TV says :)

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Crossed all the USA (North-South)
10 000km roadtrip through Austral Africa
Dived in the jellyfish lake (Palau), with manta rays, whale sharks, all kinds of sharks, and much more.
Drove all around Australia.

And the best of all, turned my hobby into my job :)

Teach, Learn, Share

I can teach you photography, show you fieldhockey or even make you practice it. I can practice french or dutch with you. I have thousands of pictures , movies and stories to share if you want to spend a cosy evening at home. I also know some cool places in Belgium, depending on what you want to see.
I can teach you about the night time sky and talk for hours about astronomy and everything above our heads.

Want to practice your French or learn a few words? Pas de problème mon ami :)
I'am not the best cook, but I do have a good recipe for pasta carbonara if you'd like that :D
Don't get me started on astronomy because it's hard to stop me :)
