Hi! For me travelling starts as a mindset when I was just a kid, not because I was travelling but because I was reading a lot of Tintin. No, seriously :) the more I think about it the more I kinda believe it's just this reason. Seeing this young reporter getting involved in such adventures all over the world in such crazy ways follows me to this day. The "wanderlust" being in places that I've never seen before, learning about the different cultures beforehand and trying to sample parts of the languages of the countries I visit are very important ideas for me. I have a huge curiosity for desolated places and watching old comunist architecture on small east European cities.

I was born and I've lived in Barcelona for a very big part of my life, I love my city but curiosity drove me to want to live abroad and so I emancipated by doing a year of voluntary service in Warsaw, Poland. To this day, I think it is the best decision I could have ever taken. It put me out of my comfort zone and pushed me to discover beautiful Poland and learn (sort of :) their language, before that I did small "scapes" by living for a short time in Paris and Norwich. And after the year in Poland I moved to Berlin where I'm learning German discovering Berlin and planning to stay a bit longer.

My dream travel is the Trans-Siberian and to visit Tibet, where Xangs plane crashed. I'm about to fulfil this dream this next 11 July 2018 starting in St. Petersburg after many postpositions and excuses. I couldn't be happier!

Por qué estoy en Couchsurfing

I'm in Couchsurfing because when I first knew about it I felt it adjusted my sentiment of sharing. The idea of opening up your apartment is an incredible positive mindset and being a guest to an stranger is amazing on so many levels. In Barcelona, Prague, Brno and Berlin I got to know people that I consider really good friends to whom luckily I still have contact with. My first hitchhiking was done with my friend Marcelina and from there I continued alone having been able to hitchhike from Barcelona to Berlin and loosing kind of a fear that I had before I started trying. I try not to fall on the trap of comparing myself in real life or in here. Some people travel like crazy and while I admire I try not to get to much overwhelmed by the idea that I'm missing out. I just do by myself, step by step at my own timing. I like to think that I travel not to try to impress others or in order to get as much likes on pictures on Facebook, rather I like to think that I travel because I really want to feel the sense of thrill and adventure,.
