Hi guys!

My name is Xenia, I'm 29 years young and from Germany. I was born in Russia but my family moved to Germany when I was 4. Currently I'm enjoying my life (since 2,5 years) in Australia, Melbourne. Backpacking, working, travelling .. on my side always my best friend Dzana. We met 6 years ago in Berlin, where we both lived and studied.
We love to explore new countries, cultures and cities. Go to beaches, hiking, cooking, eating. My friend is a really good cook :)
I'm a positive and open minded young girl. I'm enjoying learning new things from each other, I think we can always discover new things to make life more fun and enjoyable.

After I visited a few countries in Europe, I came to Australia to live, travel and work here. I was kinda bored in Germany and I thought that couldn't be it .. I still have so many places on my list, I would like to visit .. Asia, Africa, South America .. in the best case the whole world :)

The Australian borders are open now, so we would like to travel again for a little bit.

我为什么加入 Couchsurfing

I've just made a couch surfing experience once, in Portugal. It was a really good experience, so I would like to gain some more of them. I would like to see the cities from another perspective maybe. I lived in many hostels before, which is also really nice and fun. But I would just like to discover a new way of living while travelling maybe. I think Couchsurfing is a good opportunity to meet local people.

I love 90's RnB and Hip Hop, but also Afrobeats. But I really like a bit of everything. When I go out, I usually go out to Techno, as I lived in Berlin and it's impossible to avoid techno there.
My favourite artists are Kendrick Lamar, Frank Ocean, Drake and Jhene Aiko.

My favourite movies are Fight Club, Léon the professional and American Beauty.

I love books from Khaled Hosseini, like the Kite Runner.
