ABOUT ME

I've been living in Philadelphia for three years now, and I keep falling in love with the city more and more. Every time I think I'm starting to get bored and ready to move on, I find something else going on here that I want to be a part of.

PHILOSOPHY

It's important to me to have time to myself doing what's important to me and what I want to be doing -- not what someone will pay me money to do! I love that I work part-time at a low-stress job and have the rest of my time to travel, play music, and be active in my community.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

When I was in high school, I had the opportunity to go on a tour of Europe with a youth concert band. It was an eye-opening experience for someone growing up in a country where very little is more than 200 years old. It's so easy to live in the U.S. and have no awareness of what's going on in the rest of the world, and it was a big wake-up call to me that there's a great big world outside.

I play classical cello and irish flute, and have experience teaching both. If you play any kind of music, I'd love to learn a little bit about what you do and jam a bit.
