I am a 22-year-old college graduate. My hope is to travel the world and meet new people. Personally, I don't like being a "tourist," I want to immerse myself in every culture I visit by meeting the people, speaking some of the language, trying the food, and listening to the music. I think Couchsurfing provides an excellent method of doing just that.

I want to learn about the world from the people who live in it.

The second reason being that while abroad, I hope to use Couchsurfing as a sustainable method of travel. And I will offer my home just as soon as I have one.

Interessen

As a music major, music is definitely an interest.

I love running - I've run 3 marathons over the past few years and am looking to get into ultrarunning. To me, running is a great way to see the city around you and meet some very interesting people.

Learning about new cultures and peoples (languages, food, music).

I enjoy talking about issues (specifically social issues: race, gender, etc.).

I have moved to Bitola, Macedonia for a year to teach English as part of a Fulbright Fellowship. I am pretty excited about this trip.

Also visiting Mount Blanc on a whim with my partner, Eleanor. That was one of the best days of my life.
