CURRENT MISSION

Currently I'm trying to get more settled into japan and working on my Japanese skills, which are now terrible. For the month of April 2015 I have friends visiting all month so I won't be accepting guests.

ABOUT ME

Hi, I'm a high school English teacher in Osaka, japan. I'm new to couchsurfing. I have the space and I enjoy meeting people, so I've been wanting to try it for a while.
I'm pretty easygoing and kind of a home-body. I do like to go out now and then though. I also like wandering and running into random Japanese weirdness.

Interests

I love books. That doesn't just mean I love reading, which I do, but that I love the books themselves. I'm a pretty big book nerd. I'm actually a nerd in lots of ways. I also love movies. So much so that I often project movies at home. I'm also a fan of making things. Sometimes that results in something cool, sometimes I have a giant papercup sphere in my living room.

Music, Movies, and Books

I'm a big horror and sci-fi fan and have a great appreciation of terrible movies. I also love Kurosawa, Scorsese, Waters, etc.
I read quite a bit. Lately a lot of fantasy and horror.
