Overview
About Me
CURRENT MISSION
To meet new people and become more connected with the world community
ABOUT ME
I like meeting people and sharing life and travel experiences. Your most mundane daily activity could be the most interesting story to me.
I am not a smoker, I drink infrequently, and I generally like the company of small groups as opposed to crowds. I am known to say or do weird things occasionally.
PHILOSOPHY
To achieve a good balance between work, play, and friends in life.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
My first CS experiences were during a trip to Europe, and I had five fantastic hosts there. As well, I have met and showed around several couch surfers around my hometown of Vancouver, and now hosted several travelers in my current city of Calgary. I was really touched by the kindness of strangers, and would love others to feel the same way I did when I was first hosted by others in Europe, as well as more recently in Quebec, Turkey, and China.

Music, Movies, and Books
Any movie with a great and/or intriguing story, or at least one that makes you really happy. Examples include Gattaca, Contact, Almost Famous, Lost In Translation, Never Let Me Go, In Time, Hotel Rwanda, Waiting For Superman, Step Into Liquid, Amadeus, Before Sunset/Sunrise, Source Code, Moon, and most recently, El Secreto De Sus Ojos (The Secret In Their Eyes). Also, I tend to like a lot of documentaries, especially nature ones like BBC's Planet Earth & Human Planet, or any that focus on a topic I wouldn't normally think about, like ones about spelling bees, crosswords, street fashion, industrial erosion on the earth, the philosophy of happiness, and electric cars (Spellbound, Wordplay, Bill Cunningham New York, Manufactured Landscapes, Happy, and Who Killed The Electric Car?)
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
There are too many! Please come visit and I will tell you one. What I will say, though, is how fortunate I have been to visit all the places I've been to over the past 10 or so years. Every new place is a big surprise, and I've met such great people with great stories in each one of them.
