About Me

A doctor from Singapore always looking to fulfill my wanderlust (whenever my schedule allows)

I write (occasionally) at http://wuxiaotian.com

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

To meet new people and share our experiences! Everyone has their own stories to tell!

Interests

I love photography (will give my arm and leg to capture amazing shots while traveling - ok not really, but you get the idea!).

Other than that, I am really into technology & IT and the latest gizmos!

Also have a thing for endurance sports (think cross country, triathlons - hate swimming though), good music, cafe hopping, good food and beer.

Music, Movies, and Books

Some of my favorite bands are: Blind Pilot, the Head & the Heart and possibly Kodaline. I also like the Killers, Coldplay, Muse, Dashboard Confessionals and too many others to name!

I watch all kinds of movies from chick flicks to thrillers to sci-fi (except horror movies!) One of my favorite movies is the Grand Budapest Hotel. HELLO ALL OTHER WES ANDERSON FANS 👋🏻

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I thinking filling out this Couchsurfing profile is pretty amazing in itself considering that I can be quite a lazy ass at times.

Okay, but seriously, I think one of the most amazing things I have done is surviving out in the jungles of Brunei for 9 days with only 3 days worth of rations when I was conscripted in the Singapore Army. Even now, I still have terrible dreams about being back there. (Btw, it rains EVERY night in Brunei - I don't even know how that's possible)

Teach, Learn, Share

I am not quite sure if I am quite qualified to teach anything just about yet, but I am definitely willing to learn (especially new languages) and share my experiences with others around the world!

What I Can Share with Hosts

Stories stories and more stories! Whether be it of my travels, experiences in the hospitals or stories from my days in the army.

Also, I promise I will bring something interesting and unique from Singapore! No magnets of the Merlion - I promise! (unless that is what you want!)

Countries I’ve Visited

Australia, Belgium, Cambodia, France, Hong Kong, Indonesia, Italy, Netherlands, Spain, Taiwan, Thailand, United States, Vatican City State

Countries I’ve Lived In
