Hi! I'm another new estrangeiro in Porto Alegre eager to meet new people in the city, locals & foreigners! I'm 25 and I speak english, spanish, little portuguese.... and catalan! I arrived here 4 months ago, but I haven't met many people yet, so hope CS helps! Obrigado!

Some movies I’ll remember: Apocalypse Now, Il Padrino I&II, Scarface, Death in Venice, Wild at Heart, Blade Runner, Paris Texas, Los Amantes del Círculo Polar, No country for old men, Eastern Promises, Blue Velvet, Dogville, 24 hour party people, Saraband, Ghost Dog, Cofee and cigarretes, 4 months-3weeks-2days, Before the devil knows you’re dead, Vertigo, Being John Malkovich, Reservoir Dogs, Match Point, Dr Strangelove, The Lord of the Rings, 2001: Odysee in the Space, Star Wars and Life of Brian!

I've a lot to read yet and I wish I had more time but I can mention some books I really enjoyed: The Steppen Wolf & Siddharta, by Herman Hesse; L'Étranger, by Albert Camus; Il Gatopardo, by Lampedusa; Hommage to Catalonia, by George Orwell; Mirall Trencat, by Mercè Rodoreda; the roman saga of Colleen McCollough; Sinouhé the Egypt, by Mika Waltari, anyone of Quim Monzó... I must mention some comics too: Maus, by Art Spiegelman; Adolph, by Osamu Tezuka; El Corto Maltés by Hugo Pratt; Watchmen, Moore & Gibbons; From Hell, Moore & Campbell; Sin City, by Miller; Black Hole, by Charles Burns; Jimmy Corrigan, by Chris Ware, Dilbert, by Scott Adams. And I still enjoy like a child Asterix, Spirou, Tintin and Calvin & Hobbes!
