I am a new coachsurfer now！Wow, it is so exciting to come here！

My name is XIN GUO. I am from China. I like meeting people and sharing my experience. Also I like to talk about the culture of my country.

I am now an exchange Ph.D student in Uppsala University, I study in marine microbial ecology. I went to the sea many times to take samples from the ocean. It is fantastic to see the ocean and the stars at night.

I stay in Uppsala for three months as an exchange student. I will be back to China in January 2020. During this period, I would like to go around the Sweden or even Europe to see the cities and experience the life in Europe and also know more people and make friends with them.

It is always exciting to meet new people and go to new places. I want to explore the different cultures, experience the life livng in different countries. It means more to me to have the real life living in somewhere and sharing experience with people, not only to see and to go many places and take pictures. But I luke taking pictures anyway:)

I have the rough plan to go to Copenhagen, Berlin, Prague, Vienna, Rome, etc., in December.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I want to meet more people from all around the world and make friends with them. We can talk about the different culture in our contries . It is always good to live with local people so that it is a better way to experience the life in that place. Also, I want to travel around the world, and couchsurfing can offer me some good place to stay and save some money for my trip.
