ABOUT ME

I was a kungfu student at the Shaolin Wugulun Kungfu Academy in Dengfeng beofre, near the Shaolin Temple, at the foot of the sacred Zen Buddhist Song Mountain. I speak English quite well so I like to meet and talk to people from different countries all over the world.

PHILOSOPHY

I am a Zen Buddhist and I follow the Buddhist philosopy which is: to train the spiritual heart to be compassionate, calm, peaceful and aware in everyday life; to follow the path of the Buddha; to have a caring heart; to constantly watch my own faults; to be happy in helping others; to feel others pain as if it is my own; to help other people to confront their difficulties and to live happily; to be constantly aware of love in the surrounding world.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

We told people what interesting places to see in the area. If I am free I can take people around and tell them about the history of this place.The Song Mountain area became a World heritage Site last year.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I have met many interesting people. Recently an Israeli guy, who had travelled through Russia and Mongolia came for a few days then he liked the kungfu so much he stayed for a month to train.Then two Scottish guys, one a professional film maker and one a professional photographer, came and stayed fro a few days to film and photograph the kung fu and this unique area. A few eeks ago a Russian girl came and loved the kung fu and the mountain so much she decided to stay.

I love quiet meditative music. Recently I have been listening to the music of an American musician called Devakant.

I recently received a gift from a friend. It was a CD signed by Devakant to me.
