Overview
About Me
I’m a Dance Movement Therapist who believes in the transformative power of embodied expression. Whether guiding individuals toward self-discovery or fostering communal joy through movement, I see dance as a universal language for emotional and physical well-being. My work blends creativity, psychology, and mindfulness—always with a dash of playfulness!
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
exchange cultures through movement —whether teaching a grounding exercise, learning folk dances, or simply sharing how bodies tell stories across borders. Plus, I love how travel mirrors dance: both are about flow, adaptation, and connection.
Interests
1. Improvisational dance(no rules, just authenticity).
2. Ecotherapy (dancing in nature = my happy place).
3. Social justice (using art to advocate for mental health access).

Music, Movies, and Books
World music (especially percussion-heavy!), therapeutic soundscapes, and anything that makes my body sway.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Facilitated a collaborative dance-therapy workshop for refugees, using movement to help participants process trauma and rebuild connections—without needing a shared spoken language. Witnessing resilience unfold through rhythm was humbling and unforgettable.
Teach, Learn, Share
Teach: Movement meditation, expressive dance techniques, or how to use breath as a bridge between body and mind.
- Learn: Traditional dances from your culture! Also keen on somatic practices or local healing rituals.
- Share: Stories of how dance transforms lives (and maybe a spontaneous living-room dance party).
What I Can Share with Hosts
- A mini dance-therapy session to unwind after a day of travel.
- Hands-on help (cooking, cleaning) with a soundtrack!
- Heartfelt conversations about art, psychology, and the magic of nonverbal communication.
