Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
I don't host yet so for now I meet people and show them around Florida when they visit - nightlife, sightseeing, etc. I enjoy giving tours of where I live, it allows me to seem my city in a new way each time!
I also try to attend CS events and share the site with people that are unaware of it and planning to travel.
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
I used this site to meet people and attend events while living in Montreal last summer (2009). Great experience! Made some great friends!
Interests
I love to travel and meet people of different cultures. I am inspired by each place I visit.
My interests are many and I'm always open to something new. I especially love architecture, design, photography and art. I love going to museums and gallery events (especially if they serve free wine!) and also going to live music events.
Photography is a growing passion of mine, so I am usually attached to my camera and always taking pictures.

Music, Movies, and Books
[music] My music taste is all over - from bossa nova to latin, rock to jazz, world beats and downtempo - I am always on the lookout for new artists and music. I can spend hours in a music store checking out CDs and I am open to recommendations from other people. Some of my favorites right now: ceu, facto delafe y las flores azules, thievery corporation, rose, feist, cultura, kings of convenience, gondwana + more....
[books] I love to read but I dont read as much as I would like. Im currently reading "The Art of Travel". Other favorites include 'The Alchemist', 'Eat Pray Love' and 'The Monk Who Sold his Ferrari'. I also love books on architecture + photography.
[movies] a map for saturday, amelie, babel, breakfast at tiffanys, la vita è bella, l'auberge espagnole, dot the i, garden state, lost in translation among others...
