CURRENT MISSION

Looking at moving to Langley in BC for November 2015 , as will be starting Kwantlen College in January to do a Nursing related programme . I've only visited Langley once, so am a bit nervous but would like to get to know the area, and possibly find a nice roommate to share a place with, I thought couch surfing would be an ideal way to find people from the local area who may be able to offer me advice and tips on where to stay and what area's are safe etc.

ABOUT ME

Currently a R.N in the UK, making a big move over to West Coast Canada for hopefully November 2013 time. Excited to start fresh and meet new people and make new friends...I'm laid back and easy going, love different cultures, I'm honest and open and always like to try new things. Hoping to get to enjoy the outdoors as BC seems to offer some amazing things to do! I'm a very friendly sociable person, so please don't hesitate to contact me...

Warum ich bei Couchsurfing bin

I am not very familiar with the area of Langley, and I don't yet know if I will find suitable accomodation before I arrive there, so a good friend of mine advised me to try Couchsurfing as a way to perhaps find a temp place to stay on arrival or to meet people from the local area who can offer me advice on the city. Meeting and making new friends through CS would also be most welcome as I think long/life lasting friendships are vital for the soul! :)

Interessen

Meeting new people, Different Cultures, I love Running/Jogging, walks in the outdoors, I love Scenic views and trying new foods from different countries. I love shopping and computers (currently trying to learn code!) I love reading also and can quite happily curl up with a book. I really love playing board games too, they can be so much fun! I'm pretty easy going and will try anything once! Also I love Cats :)

Musik, Filme und Bücher

I love a wide range of music, but I'd have to say I lean more towards a bit of Alt-rock... Movies, I'm a bit of a Star Wars geek, and I love anything Marvel/DC related...Sci-fi/Fantasy is always good too :) Horror I can do, but find things rarely scare me anymore as they've been overdone in the movies! lol

Favourite all time book? Jane Eyre and Wuthering Heights...amazing classics that I feel were ahead of their time :)

Eine tolle Erfahrung, die ich gemacht habe

I moved to Vancouver from the UK in 2013...but only for 3 months...as the homesickness got in :/ It may not sound amazing to some, but for me its the hugest thing that I ever did , it may have been bit too big of a step then, but I'm ready and willing to give my move to Canada a second chance with this pending move to Langley! :)

Hmm I could teach someone how to speak Punjabi if anyone wants to learn that?? I'd love for someone to teach me spanish or even help with Coding!

I don't mind helping out with cleaning/cooking...anything like that, I'm a hardworking RN so I am used to hardwork! lol
