About Me

CURRENT MISSION

More and more I realize how precious time is! I am a flight attendant so I have access to free flights. I think travel is about sharing eperiences and making connections. I don't want to sit in a hotel room by myself. Besides, I'm not paid enough to!

ABOUT ME

The pictures are coming soon, I promise! I'm very excited about entering into the CS world. I'm very social and love to see new places. This is the perfect opportunity for a flight attendant. We can fly for free but don't make a lot of money. Besides, this is about being a part of a global community. You can't do that inside a hotel room. And I'm bored with hotels!
I grew up in Rhode Island, with a few years in Alaska and New York City. I majored in art at URI and RIC Moved to Los Angeles for most of my adult life. I lived in or near Venice Beach for most of that time, as well as Hollywood Hills. There I owned a horse for five years, a childhood dream come true. Travel was put on hold, but I was happy. About a year ago I moved to the Bay Area and now live in San Francisco. I LOVE it here! I am surrounded by a sea of fabulous creative beautifully crazy people whom I cherish. I am deeply immersed in the Burning Man culture. A very artistic alternative flamboyant world. I feel like I finally found home. And now I want to leave that home and explore the whole world! And now that the U S no longer has a monster for a president, I hope the world will love me back as well!

PHILOSOPHY

I love traveling probably more than anything else. But I like to share the experience. I don't enjoy solitary travel. Trying to arrange trips with other people severely limits options. That's why Couch Surfing is so important to me. Sitting in a hotel does not allow you to be immersed in the culture you visit. Meeting locals and getting the inside track is so much more important. I would like to help people see that there is so much more than the tourist stuff here. We NEVER go to those places in our city! The inside, the underground is where the magic is. That's what I found here in the bay area. That's what I'm looking for abroad.

Music, Movies, and Books

I like science fiction movies and comedy. Planet Earth series, I like home interior makeover shows. I love animation, like Pixar, Family Guy and Simpsons. I read mostly non-fiction. My favorite subject matter is psychology and the mind, consciousness, psychedelic research, spirituality and how it relates to religion and history, shamanism, and occasional self-help, like The Power of Now. The Prophet.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

the coolest thing I've done in a long time was paddle boarding in Hawaii with a pod of spinner dolphins at sunset. I had a snorkle and mask so I could watch them above and below the water all around me. It was so magical!

Teach, Learn, Share

I doubt if other countries would have such an insane creation as a mechanical bull, but if they do, I can teach you how to ride it! And of course, if they have real live horses, I can ride those, too. If you have them, I'd be happy to help out in exchange for meeting them.
