ABOUT ME

My husband and I are newlyweds and we have quit our jobs and are traveling China and Southeast Asia for 3 months! I am so excited to learn the Chinese culture during our time in China and then to move on to Southeast Asia to soak up the sun!

Where to begin, I have recently gotten into running, and my husband and I have both completed 2 marathons. My number one love will always be traveling and learning the history of different countries, the language, and taking in the sights. I also love reading, and can spend hours immersed in the book and forget about the time and where I am.

我做过的一件不可思议的事情

After college I went to Barcelona on a one way fight, without a job, visa, or knowing the language. I figured that if I didn't find a job I would see as much of Europe as I could before returning back to the States penney-less. Fortunately I was employed as an au pair and was able to stay in Europe for a year!

I am very excited about learning other cultures and learning from locals the true way they live. I am also a great person to learn from about the United States. I have traveled to almost every state, including Alaska (I have family there), and I have lived in Chicago, New York City, and Washington D.C. I would love to share my experiences as well. :)
