ABOUT ME

Undergraduate.

I think I am a walking contradiction of sorts. I am an introverted extrovert. When I am alone, I want to be with someone, but sometimes when I am with people I want to be alone. I love to explore new places and yet appreciate the simple things in life. I am a very curious learner.

I love junk. And collecting them. I love dark chocolate. The darker the better. White chocolate is blasphemy. I love singers who can't sing. They remind me of me. I love movies with tragic endings. I love collecting CDs. I love the taste of toothpaste. And I LOVE cats.

Friends call me quirky. But you may call me Daniel.

PHILOSOPHY

Be real. Seek truth. Question everything. Hide nothing.

I think all mankind are on a quest for God, whether they consciously acknowledge it or not. Some call it truth, or love, others label it as religion, but ultimately when deep calls unto deep, one then knows what one was looking for.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Recently started! Was introduced to this by some friends who've tried it, and they all said it was excellent!

Couchsurfed with really nice hosts in Budapest, Vienna, Bratislava, Prague, Rotterdam, Amsterdam, Berlin, Granada and Barcelona! Couchsurfing is becoming the highlight of my trips!

Intereses

Music, floorball, travelling, lomography, doodling, collecting random junk, anything goofy, and everything else.

Oh, and reading CS profile pages. :)

Why stop at one?

Getting lost in the thick jungles of Brunei, walking along the mountainous roads in Taiwan, looking at stunning scenery few have set eyes upon, being lost in translation in Japan, eating like a prince and experiencing the local culture in China, climbing the ruins of Angkor Wat in Cambodia, squeezing through the crowded night markets in Bangkok, overnight cycling + supper feast in Singapore, firing a 81mm bazooka, and prancing around in my room.

I could, erm, teach you about floorball if you want to learn.

Or I could teach you elementary Chinese, or a Japanese phrase or two.

Better yet, I could tell you about all the things one could possibly do in sunny Singapore. Or about Asian culture in general. :)
