I don't feel particularly professional at what I'm doing - neither at work, nor at adventuring, nor at cooking, nor..well, at all the rest. That can be frightening, but it's also a driving force to constantly keep running. I'm trying to to grow more, explore more, do more, and every now and then look back at the funny twists and turns it took me to get here... Originally from Germany I'm working towards a PhD in Art History (even though I find calling it art history is a bit too easy), and on a Documentary Photo Project, I curate things that have something to do with photography (you might call it exhibitions) and I teach English and German ... and most of this happens in Taiwan, where I have found a home away from home.

I once got arrested in Somalia. I was let go without any criminal charges, without paying the bribe, which should be proof that I'm a perfectly serious person and couch surfer.
