About Me

CURRENT MISSION

Make the most out of my year in Orlando

ABOUT ME

////Currently living in Orlando, Florida until December 2013/////

There are so many things one can say to try and describe oneself, but how much time do you have?!

I am a Spanish/Norwegian girl who simply loves the travel industry, customer service and, ofcourse - to travel myself! When people ask me which half is what, I tend to answer that I got the Spanish in the inside (in my vains), and the Norwegian on the outside (my looks). This description tends to work... sometimes!

I love to spend time with family and friends - and friends of the family and everybodys friends... (everybody is welcome!)
I enjoy drinking wine and beer (not Norwegian though), to hang out in funky pubs/bars/cafes (Mostly in Grønland, Oslo), and to have big nights out drinking and dancing!

I love to explore new places, and not necessarily big cities. I also love to meet new people and have interesting conversations and/or long going discussions about silly things.
I don't believe that I can plan my future, or that I even have the power to do so. I do believe, though, that I can make choices to form my future as I would like it to be, and that I can try to have as much fun as possible in the process of doing so.

I am easy going and a lot of fun once you get to know me, although I tend to be a little shy in the beginning (don't ask me why... I'm just silly!).

I just finished a bachelor in Tourism Management when I decided it was time to grab my backpack and start travelling. I ended up in Australia, and I am so far having the best time of my life!! I do indeed love to travel alone - so that I can meet all the wonderfull people I keep bumping into.

PHILOSOPHY

Today is the beginning of my new life, and I will live it like it's my last day!

I don't like to leave things to another time, because you never know if you will be able to do it later. So if you ever get the chance to do something amaing, something spontaneus - go with it and don't regret it!

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I have to admit I don't take that much time to check out the Oslo page while I am traveling. But when I can, I take a peek to see what kind of questions come up to see if I can be of any help. Also to see if there are any interesting people in town to meet up with and do some sightseeing (I love sightseeing in Oslo!).

I use CouchSurfing to meet people from around the world, and at the moment as an active couch surfer. I have a dream... however, that one day I'll be able to provide my own couch for fellow travellers when I am stuck working for a boring company somewhere in the world.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Oslo meetings with CS people in Oslo. I have also had Couch surfing ecperience as a surfer in Sydney and Adelaide, Australia. It was really amazing, and I was lucky to meet with so nice people! Gave me a good impression and all I want to do now is to return the hospitality - and to CouchSurf every place I go to!
I also met up with some CS'ers in Melbourne, Australia where I met some really nice people who I did most of the sightseeing with :)
In Oslo: meeting people for coffees and chats :)

Interests

Tourism, hiking, sightseeing (= spontaneously walking around a place and try to figure out where you are), socialising, movies, would like to try several extreme sports, surfing, and more... I would also love to try new things - I would love to be more out in the nature, hiking, climbing, doing whatever and try new things and challenge myself!
And ofcourse, the most important one: TRAVEL (have I mentioned this already?)
