I’m Meng, a Chinese traveler currently on a round-the-world journey. My plan for the next five years is to explore Europe. I’m based in Spain, and I'm also a language teacher. I enjoy meeting people from all over the world—there’s always something unexpected to learn from different individuals. That’s the main reason I use Couchsurfing!

I am passionate about drama and founded an original drama club at my school, organizing students to create and perform outstanding plays each semester. Our club even participated in an annual cultural and arts festival organized by the Publicity Department of the Chongqing Municipal Committee and was named "The Most Creative Club of the Year" by the magazine "Inside and Outside the Classroom."

I have taught Chinese for six years at a key high school in Chongqing, gaining extensive teaching experience. I have won numerous national and provincial-level awards in teaching competitions and academic paper contests. At the First National Conference on Basic Education, I was a representative teacher, demonstrating teaching methods. During my summer break in 2023, I attended the University of British Columbia in Canada for an advanced course in "Teaching English," where I successfully integrated Canadian activity-based teaching methods into my classes, receiving high praise from colleagues and students.↳

I am an inheritor of the Chinese intangible cultural heritage—Ciqikou paper-cutting. If you are interested, I can teach you the simple art of paper-cutting. I can also cook Chinese dishes and play some simple songs on the harmonica.
