ABOUT ME

I was born and raised just outside of Washington, DC. I am straight edge (meaning I don't drink or do drugs, but that doesn't mean I don't enjoy a good party.) and am Vegan. I've been playing in hardcore and punk bands since I was about 13, the last one for about 2 years. We did two small tours of the eastern US and recorded two releases. I spent 4 years at George Mason University in Fairfax, VA to get a BAIS in Film Production with a minor in Art. I spent a semester of that time at a university in Sweden also studying film. After graduating this past summer I moved to Vancouver, BC to attend Vancouver Film School to advance myself even more as a filmmaker.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Over the years I've slept on a lot of floors and couches playing out of town with my old band. I did the same thing while living in Sweden going to see others' bands. Back home I constantly had friends from out of town and bands on tour crashing at my place too. Here in Canada I've hosted a few out of town friends and friends of friends.

I have pretty eclectic tastes. Primarily I listen to hardcore and punk music. Aside from that I am able to enjoy any sort of music that has passion in it.

I am total movie nerd. I've watched way too many for my own good and find my self obnoxiously quoting them all the time. I love all sorts of movies and am way into documentaries too. I have a degree in film production and am currently doing even more school for making movies here in Vancouver.

I love reading a lot of non fiction. But I also get down on some novels here and there. "The Trial" by Kafka is a personal favorite.

I recently went to Tunisia to see all the shooting locations from Star Wars. I'm a huge nerd, I know.
