HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
I learned about CouchSurfing in 2010 when I read this news from Yahoo! that a girl from Hong Kong went to United Kingdom for a trip, and she met this guy through CS. She went there and thought that she could stay at this guy's place for awhile, but she got raped twice by this guy. This guy was sentenced for 10 years in jail at the end.
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
I have little CS experience (through this web), but I typically travel without spending money on accommodation (within the U.S.). I've been to 15 states so far (flight transfer doesn't count).

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
I don't think anyone who only did 1 thing amazing in their lifetime. So, I'm sorry that I can't answer this question because, even though I still have a long way to go, I've seen or done a couple things that are equally amazing.
