HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I read about Couchsurfing in some travel magazines for a few times, and decided to check the webpage out. As a travel fan, I joined, and I'm glad I did =)

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Couchsurfing has made me meet some of the wonderful people whom I wouldn't have met hadn't I joined the network.

These people gave me inspirations through their stories and showed me the world through their own eyes. I feel very blessed to meet them, though many, and I believe I will have more chance to meet such people.

Interests

I love reading and has a collection of books, many of which I have not read since I tend to buy on the spot. and by impulse.

I love cooking and do some baking, but I am not so good in baking.

I love and appreciate different cultures & traditions especially their history and their music & dances.

Love love adventures and trying out something new. I'd love to go bungee jumping and skydiving given the chance.

I love beach (who doesn't?). Brunei has beautiful sunsets and now I just got my PADI OW license, so I scuba dive in our beautiful waters. Brunei has some beautiful diving sites and wrecks for scuba divers.

Loves travelling. Tends to travel on my holidays when the school has its break. I read travel stuffs to get me inspired and motivated.

I get fascinated by something new, no matter how little they are.

And I daydream alot, like alot.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Getting married to my husband, regardless of our differences and the obstacles we faced to be together.

Giving birth to my beautiful and precious kids - a 1.345kg baby girl in 2017 and a 1.31kg baby boy in 2020. We patiently waited for them to come back home after a month since they were in NICU, fighting for their lives.

Climbing up Mount Kinabalu on my own,without any prior preparations and trainings. I knew noone, but ended up meeting some friendly and helpful people along the way.

Meeting people from almost all the countries in the world, at the same time and place. I am honoured to have represented my country in a United Nation forum in Geneva, Switzerland. I met so many people, from different backgrounds, nationalities, and living styles. It was a moment I shall never forget, and I am very happy since I now have friends from all around the world.

Visiting CERN

30 hours train ride from Bangkok, Thailand to Penang, Malaysia. Wonderful scenery and a great experience!

Life is precious, and wonderful. It's not the stuff we have, car we drive, house we live in, food we eat, or cloth we fashion, but it's the friendship, family ties, memories and love that ties us human beings together.
