ABOUT ME
I come from an army family and I've been around the world, from Alabama to South Korea. I usually say I am from Washington State because it was my most recent residence before being admitted to West Point. In high school, I did four years of Tae kwon do and JROTC. I really got in to volunteering and community service during that time. I was also an Eagle Scout and I like outdoorsey stuff like backpacking. Speaking of which, that's exactly what I had to do when I got accepted to West Point. Currently, I am on the West Point Pistol Team and I major in Systems Engineering.
PHILOSOPHY
We all share the common fate of death. Therefore, we should make the most out of our lives to help and love each other to make the only thing we truly have as best as it could ever be.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
Currently, I am not allowed to host anyone because I am in West Point. Therefore I participate by couchsurfing. I can share my unique experiences as a cadet as well as help out anywhere in the house. Since we keep clean standards, you shouldn't have to worry about me making a mess.
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
I have couchsurfed a few times and it was amazing. I was hosted in Manhattan and San Francisco. I feel like I finally got a good look at these city after my hosts got to know me.

Teach, Learn, Share
I enjoy discussions on leadership, innovation, and creativity. I especially enjoy TED talks. I like to share humorous experiences as a West Point cadet. I would like to learn the dynamics of people. My favorite way to do this is to work with people for a common goal, such as community service. I would like to learn different ways to learn from different kinds of people. This, I believe, will help me become a better officer.
