ABOUT ME

We are a married couple living in Dresden, Germany. Lisa and Sergey. Both 28 years old.

A little bit about me: my name is Lisa. My greatest love is photography. It's one of the sure things you need to know about me. My passion for photography is a part of the excitement and fascination I have with nature, cities and people I meet on my way. And I do get excited easily, you know. I am always up for new challenges and opportunities. Therefor I have done some amazing things in this life. I skydived two times, visited twenty five countries and met many extraordinary people, I sailed in Croatia and Greece, and tried piloting a plane and a glider. I took some photographs flying on a paraglider on sunset. I snowboarded from Volcano on Kamchatka and climbed some high mountains in Slovakia. Sometimes I walked without a map somewhere for many kilometers and got home safe hitchhiking with some nice people. Also I stayed in a tent camp beyond the permafrost line for 2 weeks in Kola peninsula with nearest town about 140 km away and loved the ancient feel that nature has there. I flew to India to go through Vipassana practice, which involved being silent for ten days. I love adventures and I admire Life! I am always up for new challenges and opportunities!

Note, that I got married and changed my surname from Timofeeva to Kovaleva, but for some reason Couchsurfing doesn't allow to change it in the profile :(

How I live this Life:
I believe there's something more about our lives...something universal, everything is connected and changing. And I believe that 'as you think, so you are'. Our thoughts become true. That's why I'm for positive thinking. I like meeting new people, especially artistic people, photographers, artists, etc...But anyone else is welcome to our place too!

My husband's name is Sergey, he is a doctor in physics. Now he has postdoc position in Dresden. He loves riding a bike, collecting coins (so if you have some cool coins from your country that you can give away, please bring them (of course in exchange for euros)- you can make him the happiest person in the world! Also he enjoyes fishing and thinking of new experiments, he loves everything new. And among all, he is the best husband ever! He is supportive, kind and a very wise, I can always trust him and rely on him.

Meeting new people, talking to them and making new friends...Also I was running free photosessions for couchsurfers in Dresden now and they were going great :D Apart from getting some amazing portraits, I have met a lot of cool people in Dresden and made some new friends!

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Couchsurfing gave me not a mere shelter to stay at night, it gave me the treasure, which is most important in life - new friends. That can't be compared to anything...
