ABOUT ME
I enjoy hiking, playing guitar poorly, the outdoors, travelling on the cheap. Worked formerly for Red Hat Inc, Navteq, and in the green/sustainable energy industry. Currently I am working at the world's tiniest start up in Center City.

Music, Movies, and Books
Huge fan of punk, blues, and classic rock. I listen to your standard fare(Bad Religion, Misfits, etc.)I really dig live music. Used to hit shows whenever I could from clubs to church basements. I'm in for live stuff in any genre. I think anyone with the courage to put their musical chops on display for the world to see is worthy of my attention.
I enjoy a broad range of film from the deep though provoking type to your generally under appreciated slap stickery. I will cast aside all personal and professional obligations to watch "Gone in sixty seconds" whenever its on.
Books. Been into reading about mountaineering lately. Just finished "Into Thin Air" and am currently reading Ed Viestur's 2009 book on K2.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
I take your one thing and throw it away!
Executed a circuitous single day 1100 mile drive from the base of the Tetons to Denver by way of Idaho Falls, that included 4 States, 3 biomes ,4 tanks of gas, a job interview, a reunion, a rowdy bar,a pepper eating contest, an impromptu jam session, a speeding ticket, and one terrible, terrible hangover.
Walked 800 miles from North Georgia to Northern Virginia in two months only stopping because I had a hangover and my hiking companion had a broken foot
