Well what about me! I’m a very enthusiastic and adventures 25 year old who majored in cognitive neuroscience at the University of Utrecht, The Netherlands. I have done research at the University of Florida in applied cognitive neuroscience for a while too, but am now living in Amsterdam!

Growing up in the Netherlands as an expat was more than interesting and has left me interested in other cultures and of course kick started my love for traveling. I enjoy good food and drinks, movies and music but above all deep conversations.

I would love to experience the feeling I have when I travel when I am home more often. Meeting travelers and showing them the place you call home and let them fall in love with it, is something that would make my day!

兴趣

Besides traveling and overall fun, I do enjoy music. I play the guitar and the piano and love to jam! Partying is great too, not only at clubs and bars, but enjoying time at home is also great.

It’s maybe a cliché, but I do appreciate almost all music genres! While studying I love to put on classical music, when I need to get rid of some energy I like to put on some house and dance and when I’m playing the guitar I vary from rock to indie, soul and blues.. I am also an absolute Netflix addict and go to the movies a lot. The only books I read are for ‘study’ purposes, although I like Dan Browns books!

我做过的一件不可思议的事情

The most amazing thing I’ve done is playing soccer/football in Central Park, New York. The special thing about that particular experience, was the fact that I started playing with two friends from The Netherlands but after a while it looked like a mixed world cup was going on! People from Morocco, Germany, Italy, Brazil, Argentina and the US joined us. It was great playing with strangers from all over the world, in a beautiful park surrounded by skyscrapers!
