Intereses

My main hobby that eats most of my spare time is Irish traditional music. I play Irish B/C button accordion and attend some of the local Irish sessions - both as a listener and as a player. Here's some music I've recorded:

I also love to listen rock of late 60s and 70s, baroque music, Russian classical music of XIX century and any other great music.

Programming used to be my hobby, but now software development is my job, and I don't do too much of it for fun.

Did some bathing and sunbathing on sunny beaches of Barents sea, the Arctic ocean. Watched the sea from the top of an abandoned lighthouse on a small rocky island, where no one have been for years.

Crossed the Polar Urals, have seen Europe and Asia at the same time when on top of the mountain chain. Boated on my canoe in a half-frozen lake in July, drunk water from the melting snow.

Learned to play irish b/c button accordion in complete isolation, was the first to pick the instrument in the city.

I highly doubt there's any non-trivial skill you can teach or learn within a timeframe of a typical couchsurfing visit (which is 2-5 days in my experience). That being said, if you want advice on how to become a software developer or an amateur folk musician (lol) - feel free to ask.

Oh, one more piece of advice: go watch "My Little Pony: Friendship is Magic" now. You won't be disappointed.
