My name is Yakov, although I go by Jacob abroad (which is the same name, but in English). I'm 21, graduated university a year ago and now work full-time. Lately I've been heavily into music, going for width more so than for depth, meaning I find similar musical taste with virtually anybody. I also enjoy just walking around cities, or watching movies and TV shows, which mostly depends on the weather. In Saint Petersburg, my home city, the weather is really capricious (is that the word I'm looking for?), so I haven't been able to enjoy a good long walk for a long time now.

I like to travel and have been gaining more and more opportunities to do so as of late. I also want to meet new people, but coming up to strangers and starting a conversation is kinda hard, so having them at least not be complete strangers helps :)

I'd love to have guests over, too, but at the moment my living situation doesn't allow it.

Música, películas y libros

I mostly listen to hip-hop nowadays, but my favorites are scattered all over the place. There's some punk rock, some classic rock, some 80s pop and disco, some classical music even.

My favorite director would be Edgar Wright. Also probably Wes Anderson and the Cohen brothers.

TV shows! Love Community, The Office, Atlanta, Fargo, Black Mirror, Jeeves and Wooster, Firefly, and like 50 more.

Lastly, books. Couldn't name a favorite, I just read and decide whether I liked it or not. I keep coming back to the Harry Potter series, now reading it to my little sister (that's our eveningly ritual), and also was very impressed by Atlas Shrugged. Otherwise, there are too many great books to name.
