HELLLOOOO, I'm Yali :) I’m a marketing student living in Peru. I looooove meeting new cultures and people. I think every person has a story to tell and I'm all about listening. Currently in my 3 year and in every vacation opportunity I have, I try to explore the world as much as I can.

I love volunteering, I think is a great way to give back to the people that have helped me. It also gives me the opportunity to meet people to a much more deep level.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

My biggest inspiration is my future. I just want to be old one day, sitting in my living room, looking back and knowing I didn’t hold back. Whether it was talking to a stranger, rescuing a dog, teaching a kid, or working abroad on my own—I want to feel like I really lived.

It’s not about parties or forgetting everything, but about finding peace in knowing I helped where I could, met the right people, and learned as much as possible. Every trip has given me a story, and those are the things I’ll carry with me forever.

Omg i love this question, one of my favorite musics is: Entre Luca y Juan Mejia-The vibe you hear from this song is the vibe I am, for real. I just love the beats and how it makes me feel. I've sing this song a thousand times in the shower is THE BEST.

I really like listening to music, I'm the girl that's always on her headphones :) but if you talk to me, of course, ill listen to you. My favorite music genre is Samba and Pagode, I just LOOOOVE listening to that kind of music.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

The BEST decision in my life was my first volunteering experience in Rio de Janeiro. I was in charge of making tours and helping people in a hostel. I lived in a favela for 3 weeks and there's when I realized I LOVE LIVING WITH NEW CULTURES.

I love travelling!

I've been to cities like Olympic Valley (where I worked) and loved the international culture around, been to Rio de Janeiro and engaged a lot with the volunteer community in town.
As well, I've travelled to all the departments in my coutry, Peru! I just love to experience new experiences and meet new people to all the places I visit.

Also been to countries like Chile and Bolivia.
