Whenever I am traveling and meet someone new, I always make a very silly guessing game:

"Guess where I come from? If you guess right, I give you a gift."

Of course I just do that, because it is not obvious where I am from. Although, I have this asian face, I am brazilian!

Being a Nipo-Brazilian is sometimes funny, because people most of the time have a first judgement on "face value".

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I am here to get known places and people.

I would love to spend a evening just getting known simple things of different people or sharing my own!

At this moment, I mainly look for meeting new people around Europe.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I have just started here. Through CS I had never surfed, but I have already surfed in some couchs in Austria and Brazil. I really appreciate all their caring and hospitality! Tks Tobias and Erica.

Well, I have been in some couchsurfing meetings in Milan, Lisbon and Brussels. It was very nice meeting people with the same attitude towards "strangers". Lovely evenings learning how diverse can be this planet!

Slow Food - Because, we should enjoy more than a Big Mac.
Drinking - Not so heavy, beer and wine.
Economics - Graduated on that! Need to practice! lol
Culture - It is simply amazing to see how the humam being can be shaped in different environments!

About Italy

In Italy there a lot of streets and Piazzas called Verdi.

Although there is the famous musician Giuseppe Verdi, It is also stands for "Vittorio Emanuelle Re di Italia".

This was a hidden way of protest that the Italians have found to make public protests of the french domination. (Not sure if were the french, should confirm it.)

About Brazil

Accounting for 1,5 Million people, Brazil has the largest japanese population after Japan.

In 2008 was the 100th anniversary of the japanese immigration to Brazil.
