ABOUT ME

The basics are simple, 34 year old single mother of an absolutely gorgeous 10 year old football prodigy boy. High profile job, excellent education, but there's one thing i am proud of really - my friends and that i somehow manage to keep them and collect them along the way. Recently the geography of this circle has expanded. I may seem reserved at the first glance but i surely open up to people once i get to know them. Definetely friendly and polite. May be stubborn, but one of my main qualities is my dependability. People can count on me. Always.

PHILOSOPHY

Funny question there, below 'Why do i live my life?', mainly because i enjoy it. I am basically happy and content. Counting blessings, me. Being thankful for having the family i have, job i do, country i live in, opportunities that many people would not have. Which in its turn allows me to accept other people adequately and respect their choices and lifestyles (as long as they are legal, fair and do not harm others).

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

Being a Sagitarius (and i obviously do not believe in horoscopes and never read them :P) i can't sit still. Since i could afford it travelling has been my means of learning things, escaping from things, anything really. But the only thing i know that without people you meet in your travels the experience is blank. We have all seen the sights in the pics, haven't we? I would love to share Moscow with you the way i know it, being a Moscovite, whose family is in the city since 17th century i have a lot to show. I sincerely believe that getting to know each other is the key to real friendships and a nice, friendlier world (here, i did sound like a beauty pageant contestant, oh my!!!). So my home is open for people who are not prejudiced and be sure you'll be lavished with traditional Moscow hospitality (yes, this does include a bit of drinking :P)

Interests

I love cooking and may get seriously offended if you dont' like my food. Joking. But i AM an amateur cook, i love collecting recipes from the countries i visit, eagerly learn from people who know things i don't. Love to feed my friends, and those evenings, when the weather is good, we are all at the table, talking nonsense, laughing till we cry.
I also love travelling, Europe mainly, the fantastic quality of these travels - that you don't really have to rush to see as much as possible, one little town in Italy will provide you with things to explore for a good week.
Did i mention reading? The book has to be thick!!! The more characters the better, the more complicated is the plot - ohhhhhh that's reading Heaven :))

Music, Movies, and Books

That's a complicated one. That's asking for the impossible. How do i define? Buster Keaton will live peacefully with last series of Lost, Bertolucci will have to move a bit to give some space to french comedies with Louis de Funes, In the Mood For Love by Vong Kar Vaj will be played twice though, Seom - twice but with significant lap of time between the showings, Gladiator, Romper Stomper, From Africa, Deerhunter, Little Miss Sunshine to name but a few. Over to books, are you yawning yet?

John Irving, Leo Tolstoy, Gogol, Pushkin - here, important - i am not stating those because that's something that was read at school and is canonic, nope, i actually do read them. Houllebecq, MacNiece - there are a lot.

Oh my, music now....... Do come ask, its deliriously hectic.
