ABOUT ME

I have lived in New York my whole life, except when I am traveling. I love to meet people from new places and I love living abroad. I think there is nothing more exhilarating than being in a country that is foreign to me.
For the past four years I have been in medical school, trying to make time for long biking expeditions, museums and festivals, concerts, friends and family. I am interested in public health and working with urban populations. I love to be outdoors and am always looking for an excuse to go hiking or camping, although this is difficult from such a big city. I like to dance and enjoy the free time that I have.
This May I am graduating from med school and moving to LA to start my residency in psychiatry. WOOHOO!

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I think that you can learn the most about a place from the people who live there, and my traveling experiences have always been greatly enriched by having friends who are locals. I have had the fantastic opportunity to WWOOF in India, Spain and Italy. I started CouchSurfing about a year ago and have stayed with hosts in Seattle and Portland. I had a great experience in both places and hope to continue.
