ABOUT ME

Hello, I'm Yan, a young brazilian guy who moved to England for studies. I've come from a far away land and I'm up for any new experience. I study medicine but I also have some skills as an actor (well... not much).
I really enjoy traveling and to know different people and different cultures.

PHILOSOPHY

I know it sounds dull, but I really believe people should enjoy life more and worry less. After all, since we're in this world, lets make the most of it.

I've traveled for a reasonable times now and each one of there I had wonderful experiences. Unfortunately, not many people come to Newcastle, so I don't get to host as often as I'd like.

Not much to tell here but that I have absolutely no regret to use it.

Interests

This is such a small box to write all my interests, but I'll try to summarise it:
I really enjoy knowing new people, and even more if they have a different culture from mine. I like going out to a pub to drink (by the way, I really enjoy a good beer). I enjoy nature very much. But life is not all adventure, so there are times I just like to watch a film or read a nice book.
I also enjoy my videogame and above all, my accordion

Music, Movies, and Books

About movies, I like a lot of directors such as Tarantino and Scorcese. But sometimes I can even like some chick flicks.
About my music taste, I really enjoy a good beat to dance (I'm Brazilian after all). But I enjoy a lot of rock and heavy metal, such as acdc, iron maiden and metallica.
The kind of books I most enjoy are the historic/fantasy ones, such as Bernard Cornwell, Chronicles of ice and fire, lord of the rings. Yes, I'm nerdy. Also, I'm a big Saramago reader.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

When I backpacked around Spain and Portugal. It's very difficult to describe how awesome the numerous places I've visited and the people I've met.

Teach, Learn, Share

I can teach some skills in medicine, such as CPR. I also can teach portuguese, english, french and a little bit of japonese. I would really like to learn some new languages, such as german, italian and russian.
