I am a 20-year-old who loves diving into cultures, spending sleepless nights in conversation and sharing the exciting experience with those who surround her.

I completed a 2-year International Baccalaureate program in UWC Dilijan, Armenia. UWC (United World Colleges) is a network of 17 colleges all over the planet that offers international experience to students no matter their background and financial state. I lived together with people from more than 73 countries of the world, made friends, made mistakes and achieved things I thought I would have never been able to achieve. This is a precious experience for me that I want to preserve and pass on to others. I am now continuing my education at Whitman College in Walla Walla, WA (USA).

I want to explore the world through meeting new people and at the same time be helpful for those who are interested in my beautiful home country (Belarus). I believe that true traveling is not seeing the most popular places in a country, but rather learning from the experience that it offers you when you walk along small unknown streets, meet and talk to the local people and discover it yourself without anyone else's influence.

I think listening to all kinds of music can describe my music taste, but not in a really specific way. I can say, there is one band that I loved, I love and I will always love - it is called Coldplay. Their songs awake emotions in me that no other music does. That is why they are so special to me (but I am not talking about the recent pop that they have moved to O_o).
As I can call myself a beginner/future pianist, I love classical music performed by piano and orchestras. It is something that makes my brain work and I think it is a real treasure for your self-development.
I also love folk and fusion music of the countries that I visit. In Armenia, I fell in love with (playing and listening to) songs of Komitas and Miqayel Voskanyan & Friends.
Movies? There are so many of them!
Books? Lately, I came back to reading Russian classics - Anna Karenina and Evgeniy Onegin... I hope that this summer will be full of reading literature in my native language (Belarusian)

我做过的一件不可思议的事情

Did fundraising of $10 000 to build the first UWC Dilijan + local community greenhouse, struggled with the bureaucracy for 1.5 years to get it built, and (finally!) got it built! :)

Organised a BEAUTIFUL event with Chinese lanterns in my town! More than 500 people attended it and shared happiness with one another :)

I believe that after 2 years of my education in Armenia I gained a lot of international experience, as well as my own perspective on Armenian people and culture. I would be happy to share my experience with those who wonder what Armenia is and if it is worth visiting.

I would also be happy to share my passion for music - not long ago I realized that I want to become a musician, in particular, a pianist. We will see where life takes me, but I definitely believe that music is powerful and it can bring a lot of changes into one's life :)

And - for sure - I can teach some Belarusian/Russian/English and even a bit of Spanish, French and Armenian :)
