ABOUT ME

Well, this is the most complicated tak ever, I should admit. Because every time I'm asked this kind of question I have nothing to say at all just 'Hi, my name is Yana, I live in Moscow'. But I'll do all my best.

I'm a broadenminded and ambitious person who is curious and excited about everything aroud. Imaginative and creative. Some people call me a bit crazy. The world is crazy and we're parts of it anyway, therefore we should be appropriate to it or we won't survive. Moreover, all the creative people are crazy. Freaking freaks.
Sociable and optimistic. I like sharing my interests and ideas with other people. I like to find out about others' and find something in common. What do you usually feel when you understand both of you have the same point of view? :)
I'm enthusiastic and energetic. I do love hanging out.
I'm not a big fan of clubs though I don't mind. It actually depends on my mood.
I do NOT mind about getting drunk. Ha. It's a good way to know each other better and closer.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I came across this website not so long time ago and already met a lot of nice people here.
The first and the only (as found CS recently) experience I had was the meeting with such a great girls from London. I had been absolutely frustraited about the meeting because I'd never met native-speakers before. But, thanks to CS and the girl I went for a walk around Moscow with, I feel much confidend and powerful about my English.

Interests

I'm a huge fan of music. I find it as one of the best ways to beat the stress and boredom, sadness, desperation, in some cases. Music helps to realx, music teaches to think deeply, music shows unshown things. Music tells stories and takes you to wonderful places you've never been to. Music uncovers the world we live in and wispers you its little secrets. Music makes you feel free, music arouses all the kinds of emotions inside you. Music is a great teacher of the Life.
Ha. Talking about music in a simple way, I like all kinds of music. If melody and lyrics are good enough to download it, why should we think about particular genres like we're stuck to them with no other choice? Mostly I prefer British rock and alternative. But in my iPod you'll find everything. From J. Bieber (omg) to Slipknot.
My favourite band is Muse, btw. I'll be so glad to meet someone who likes them as well.

Apart from music I like travelling. This is the greatest thing in the world because it gives us a number of opportunities. You can meet new people who can become your friends, we learn much more about history and culture than it's possible to learn reading books.

I like visiting museums, exploring the history of a place I visit. I also don't mind about just walking around a city to see its people, its buildings, shops, roads and all other stuff.
