Overview
About Me
I really enjoy discovering new cultures, doing sports, reading, and dancing. I also love scuba diving I’m a biologist specialized in marine sciences and a certified diver. At the same time, I’m passionate about climbing and hiking. I’m not a professional, but I truly enjoy these activities in my free time. Traveling and exploring new places, as well as learning about history, are some of my greatest passions. I absolutely love museums. I consider myself a responsible, kind, friendly, and respectful person.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
My friend motivated me to join Couchsurfing she used to host travelers at her home, and I loved seeing how she connected with people from different parts of the world and learned about their cultures. That experience inspired me to do the same and open myself to meeting new people.
I truly love getting to know different cultures, meeting travelers, and listening to their adventures they inspire me to step out of my comfort zone and remind me that there is so much more beyond what my eyes can see. Traveling and connecting with people from around the world makes me feel alive and curious about life.
At the same time, I enjoy sharing my own culture and experiences. I’d love to motivate others to learn about Mexico, try our food, and discover the traditions that make my country unique. I also love helping others enjoy the region where I live, making them feel welcome and at home.
For me, Couchsurfing is not just about a place to stay it’s about exchanging kindness, building friendships, and celebrating the beauty of diversity.

Music, Movies, and Books
I enjoy all kinds of music: instrumental, opera, jazz, reggaeton, reggae, country, pop, and more. Some of my favorite artists include Adele, Birdy, Rod Stewart, Stromae, Charles Aznavour, Teddy Swims, Avicii, Maroon 5, Juan Luis Guerra, and Aleks Syntek, among others.
When it comes to movies, I love comedies, romantic comedies, thrillers, documentaries, science fiction, children’s movies, and psychological films. Horror, however, is not for me I tend to get nervous watching them. Some of my favorite films are A Walk to Remember, A Little Bit of Heaven, Grown Ups, Just Go with It, and Spanglish.
As for books, I enjoy a wide variety, from novels to self-development. Some that have deeply inspired me are By the River Piedra I Sat Down and Wept, Veronika Decides to Die, The Alchemist, Why Me?, Memoirs of a Geisha, Atomic Habits, Ask and It Is Given, I Already Said Goodbye, Now How Do I Forget You?, Memoirs of Cleopatra, You Are Your Safe Place, and The Art of Loving.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Something incredible I have done is writing a journal of all the things I want to accomplish before I die and I’ve been fulfilling them one by one. I love languages and I’m currently learning my third one. I’m an advanced deep-water diver, and I’ve traveled through 26 states of my country, which was something I wanted to achieve before going abroad. I studied English for a short period in a university in Calgary, Canada, where I experienced snow for the first time. I skated on ice, swam in a hot pool while it was snowing, and even built a snowman. I’ve visited several countries that I was interested in, though I still have many more to explore. I also started creating travel videos — even if I don’t have many followers yet, I truly enjoy sharing with others that everything you dream of can come true if you believe in it.
Teach, Learn, Share
Teach: Spanish, dancing, swimming
Learn: English, German, mountain climbing, skiing
Share: A good conversation
I’m a friendly person who can also share more about my Mexican culture and even cook if you’d like to try some Mexican food. I love talking about adventures, teaching a bit of dancing, or simply enjoying a nice walk with good conversation. I can walk for hours or just sit and chat. Sometimes, if you don’t mind, I like to joke around to break the ice. I genuinely enjoy talking, but if you prefer not to talk much, I can also enjoy the silence with you.
I truly love photography, music, reading, and having my own personal space which is why I always respect the personal space of others. I can also help you learn Spanish, dance, and cook if you’d like to try something new.
What I Can Share with Hosts
I can offer my hosts a taste of authentic Mexican cuisine if they’d like, share stories about my country and culture, teach a bit of dancing, and tell them about my travel adventures. I enjoy creating a warm and friendly atmosphere and making my hosts feel welcome and at home.
