ABOUT ME

I am a Chinese-Canadian from Vancouver (best place on Earth) and my passions in life revolve around sports and music. Contrary to my height (5'3"), I am obsessed with volleyball (indoor & beach) and basketball!
I work hard, but definitely play harder. I aspire to be lawyer on international trade and intellectual property.
I love to travel and to discover new things about myself and the world--especially since coming to Europe. I want to continue to push myself on all boundaries to one day be the best person I am meant to be.
I would like to visit 25 countries before I turn 25, and one day after University, journey down the Pan-American highway with friends.
I am curious and adventurous, I enjoying trying new things.
I have a pretty dry/sarcastic sense of humor, but it can be dialed down if the circumstances call for it. I can be really laid back but equally outgoing and energetic when needed.

I am new, I have none. But I am 120% willing and excited about it!

I've been involved with music since I was 8 years old; piano, trumpet, sax, and clarinet.
I've played sports all my life, the current passion of my life is volleyball.
Have to work out, no debate there.
All in all, I just like to have a good time. Whatever it may be. I am fairly open minded and willing to try new things.

音乐、电影和书籍

I am a big movie fan. Movies tend to monopolize my spare time as I like to multitask with things like eating. My favorite genres are thrillers and romantic comedies.
Though I think there is an occasion for everything, I also like music of all kind. In particular, my playlist tends to stack towards the house/electronic, R&B/hip hop, and pop rock.
I'm not big into reading fiction, but I am actively making an effort to read more. I actually prefer non-fiction and one of my favorite authors is Robert Greene, anything by him is a great read, informative yet easy to process in its simplicity. Tim Ferriss is also an author who's work I really appreciate, have a look through the '4 hour workweek' and/or the '4 hour body' if you're interested in lifestyle reshaping. I am currently tackling The Moral Animal by Robert Wright. But if you're just looking to be entertained and have a few laughs, read "I hope they serve beer in hell" by Tucker Max. (It's perfect for a long flight, as was for me flying from Vancouver-Beijing.)

My closest group of friends (I made while on exchange) and I rented an RV and drove across Scandinavia for 2 weeks. It's been one of the greatest things I've done and will look back upon it with smiles always.
