Hey, my name is Yanhong Wang, (just call me Hom), I'm from China, I'm 27 and I come to Australia for 1-year working holiday visa. Generally I'm a quiet guy, but I like to socialize and meet new friends at the same time. I traveled a lot in China, usually by myself. The first place I traveled abroad was Thailand, I went there to learn scuba diving, Australia will be the second, I wish to have a good time here, I think it will be a life-changing experience.

I used to couchsurf in China, I think it's the best way to know local life, and I'm a budget traveler as well, I like to meet more friends this way.

Music, Movies, and Books

I like all sorts of music, especially folk music, post rock and dance music.
Movies are my favorite, it's a great way to see the world around you, I like to see serious movies, it will remind me who I am, and seize the day.
I like to read books a lot, but usually Chinese version. I'm reading a buddhism book, it is full of wisdom.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I once went hitchhiking from Dali Yunnan to Lahsa Tibet for 10 days.
I used to go cycling from Lahsa Tibet to Xining Qinghai for 15 days.
I bought a used motorcycle and traveled in Yunnan for half a month.
I supported myself as a street performer in Dali, I can play guitar and sing folk songs.

Teach, Learn, Share

I want to learn to cook foreign dishes and practice my English.
I can teach you to play guitar, I'm a patient teacher although I don't consider myself a awesome guitar player.
