About Me

I'm an adventurer with a bit of an artistic side. I sing, paint, dance, enjoy very much theatrics and I'm a huge cinema fan. I like meeting new people and places and learning everything I can from them. I love travelling and every time I travel I try to absorb everything I can from the new cultures. I love animals and nature. And I'm a sucker for puzzles, trivia's and mind games.
I'm very honest and open minded. I can look serious at first, but I'm very sociable and talkative. I have good values and I'm always trying to help people in every way I can. I'm a trustworthy and respectful person.
And I'll be eternally grateful if you open the doors of your home to help me out :D

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I want to meet new people and cultures. And there's no better way know a new place than with the advice and company from someone that actually lives there and knows all about it.
And if I'm able to return the favor to my hosts once I'm back home, that would be awesome :)

Music, Movies, and Books

Music: I love music in general, I mostly listen to rock (in most of its variations), alternative, contemporary and trova (in spanish). Reggueton and the new bachata might be the only genres I don't enjoy (haha).

Books: among my favorites are Beloved from Toni Morrison, Cien Años de Soledad from Garcia Marquez, Ender's Game from Orson Scott Card, La Misteriosa Fiamma della Regina Loana from Umberto Eco, Ensaio sobre a Cegueira from Saramago, The Witching Hour from Anne Rice and The Clown from Heinrich Böll

Movies: I'm a true fan, so it's hard for me to chose just a few movies: Todo sobre mi madre from Pedro Almodovar; Princess Mononoke from Hayao Miyasaki; Midnight in Paris from Woody Allen; Casablanca from Michael Curtiz; The Fall from Tarsem and Reservoir Dogs from Tarantino

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Tricky, tricky, LOL ... I guess it depends on what one can considers amazing. For example I helped save several dogs from drowning in a flooded animal shelter or some crazy amazing thing is that I once ride a bull or it could be that when I was a kid I was an extra in a low budget movie.
I guess "amazing thing" can be seen from many different angles. I can tell you some more if we hang out ;)

Teach, Learn, Share

Teach: voice warming exercises; drawing or painting techniques; Spanish; maybe how to cook one of Costa Rica's national dish; how to fill sudokus or kakuros. Anything I can teach that you might have an interest in, I'll give a try for sure.

Learn: new languages, culture facts or info on cool, interesting places to visit. Info on new movies, books, bands or artists from your country -that can be interesting.

Share: a nice conversation and everything I can to show my appreciation. Plus, a small souvenir from Costa Rica ;)

What I Can Share with Hosts

Knowledge, art, laughs, anecdotes and of course a lifetime invitation to my beloved Costa Rica, where I'll give my best try to make them feel like home -but better, 'cause they'd be in vacations haha ;)

Countries I’ve Visited
